Jane is pronounced Jeanne in French.

Jane or Jeanne means “God is gracious” in Hebrew.

My biological dad’s mom’s name was Jeanne (I’m not 100% sure of the spelling)- and I didn’t think about that when I named the blog, but I like the parallel.
