“oh là là”
“oh là là”, is a thing-
I went to My Noodles yesterday for lunch. It is a Northwest Chinese noodle restaurant.
It’s tiny, like most places here, and at lunch there was a line to get in.
It was worth the wait.
As a solo person I was seated at a small table butting up to another small table with two people (maybe a mom and her adult son).
I ordered a cucumber salad and shrimp dumpling noodle soup. It was delicious. The noodles and dumplings are handmade and they melt in your mouth.
They ordered raviolis (dumplings) as a starter, and the house specialty, Lamen Frais Fait Maison- a Sichuan beef ramen. The man ordered the soup; the lady, a noodle bowl.
The minute the man saw the soup he said, “oh là là”.
Then he tasted it; another “oh là la”.
I was almost done with my soup, and he and I were practically touching elbows, so I could hear him sniffing as he slurped.
It was fiery indeed!!!
Josh will love it.
